
I've not been in a good place recently, and I know my health has not been great because of it. It seems I struggle to say the two-letter word "No". However, I decided I would make use of the weights in recent days, weights that I have had for decades.
I picked up the weights and did a few minutes, but in reality, the weights I used to lift when I was younger, are certainly not the weights I can manage for more than a few minutes now. So I took off one of the weights on the metal bar on each. Now lighter, I manage to lift the weight much easier, and am gradually doing it for longer, one day at a time - right?
I know I will never have a body of a gym God, but as long as I am feeling healthier and that's what counts. As I am still currently on transfer from my wheelchair it was something that needed to be done,
It's now only two weeks until my appointment at the prosthetic clinic, and hopefully things will be a lot better.
